Nigerian Corner celebrates Lagos State at this year's Notting Hill Carnival!

To mark the 30th anniversary of the longest running and largest gathering of Nigerians in the UK, Nigerian Corner at the Notting Hill Carnival this year will be called LAGOS CORNER, featuring performing artistes on stage, comedians, Nigerian food and more.
Lagos Corner will take place on Monday 29th August 2016 at the world famous annual Notting Hill Carnival in West London. This is part of the LOVE LAGOS WEEKEND happening around London from the 27th to 29th August 2016. An initiative in partnership with the Lagos State Government in order to showcase and promote the Lagos Brand on the world stage. Starting with a Lagos State Town Hall Meeting, a platform for interaction with Lagos State indigenes and lovers of Lagos State in the Diaspora, then two events, I Laff with MC Abbey and Julius Agwu's Crack Ya Ribs shows, then the Lagos Corner at the Carnival.

Producer of the Lagos Corner, Ayo Shonaiya says "This is a special Nigerian Corner which we have dubbed Lagos Corner. Not only because it's our 30th anniversary, but the partnership with Lagos State means we can bring Lagos to London for a whole weekend. It's going be awesome!".
